CRITERIA FOR GETTING ADMISSION IN COLLEGES THROUGH JEE(MAIN & ADVANCED)

JEE Main Participating Institutes 2020 Institutes which will take admission on the basis of JEE Main 2020 are the participating institutes of exam. Candidates can check the participating institutes of JEE Main 2020 to know which colleges they will be able to apply for after attempting and qualifying the examination. JEE Main participating institutes 2020 consists of National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs). In the session of 2019, there has been an increase in the number of institutes participating for admissions through JEE Main. Candidates will be able to apply for 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 CFTIs on the basis of JEE Main 2020 ranks. CRITERIA TO GET ADMISSION THROUGH JEE

Admission to JEE Main B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning courses in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs (participating though Central Seat Allocation Board) will be based on All India Rank. Though, it also depends on the fact that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class / Qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class/qualifying examination.
